NCBA's Cattlemen to Cattlemen will be broadcasting live from the Convention Feb. 1-2 to spotlight industry leaders, trade show.
DENVER, Colo. (Jan. 24, 2011) – Cattle producers unable to attend the Cattle Industry Annual Convention and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) Trade Show in Denver, Colo., in early February, can still have a front-row seat during some of the proceedings. That’s because NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen on RFD-TV broadcasts two live shows from the event Feb. 1 and 2. The programs will invite industry leaders to take a look back at events of 2010 and predictions for 2011, and feature an exciting walk through the NCBA Trade Show, with a peek at some of the exciting new products and services in the cattle industry today.
Industry leaders, trade show in spotlight of NCBA’s award-winning program on RFD-TV.The one-hour NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen program for Tuesday, Feb. 1, will broadcast live at 8:30 p.m. EST and feature interviews with leaders of Colorado cattle organizations, including the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, Colorado Livestock Association and the Colorado Beef Council. Current NCBA President Steve Foglesong, an Illinois beef producer, will share his thoughts of his year at the helm of the organization, while NCBA CEO Forrest Roberts will outline what’s ahead in 2011.
“It’s been a pivotal year for the beef industry and NCBA,” said NCBA President Steve Foglesong. “As my tenure as president of NCBA comes to an end, I’m excited to share my thoughts on our very own television show about the progress we’ve made this past year and hope for the future of this amazing organization and industry.”
On Wednesday, Feb. 2, NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen will be broadcast from the Trade Show floor from 8-10 p.m. EST, capturing the excitement of the event and showcasing the fun and educational products and cutting edge technology available to help cattle industry operations today. Noted industry observer Baxter Black will be on hand to help describe the flavor of the Trade Show, which will include a display of Roy Rogers’ late horse Trigger and German Shepherd Bullet, courtesy of RFD-TV. Companies and organizations will staff more than 250 booths during the Show, the largest of its kind in the cattle industry.
In addition, officials of CattleFax and the NCBA Washington, D.C,. office will be interviewed to provide an outlook of what’s in store for the industry in 2011. Incoming NCBA President Bill Donald, a Montana beef producer, will describe what he sees as key challenges and opportunities for the organization in the next year.
Tuesday’s live program will be re-broadcast on RFD-TV Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 10:30 a.m. EST and Saturday, Feb. 5, at 9:00 a.m. EST. In addition, all episodes of NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen are available on the program’s website at www.cattlementocattlemen.org.
