Animal Health International Technologies Showcases Stocker, Feedlot and Feed Mill Operation Solutions
Animal Health International Technologies news release
GREELEY, Colo. (Feb. 3, 2014) — Animal Health International Technologies, a division of Animal Health International Inc., provides solutions for Stocker, Feedlot and Feedmill operations, each designed to bring increased effectiveness, efficiency and profitability to today’s cattlemen and cattle operation. Animal Health International Technologies will be showcasing these solutions Feb. 4-7 in Nashville, Tenn., at the 2014 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show.
Animal Health International Technologies solutions include:
- Animal Health Micro Systems (AHMS), the ultimate in micro-ingredient machines for accurate, reliable and flexible delivery of micro-ingredients to cattle without the need for additional supplement storage space.
- Animal Health Control Systems (AHCS), a customized, feed batching system for complete mill automation, developed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of a feed mill operation.
- Animal Management System (AMS) is a computerized data collection, analysis and monitoring system that better documents the entire meat production cycle. AMS documents information on each individual animal, allowing this data to be shared with each entity in the production cycle, from cow-calf producers to stockers and feeding operations to the packing house.
- Flake Color Index System (FCIS), a digitized system that measures starch through color analysis to help determine starch availability.
- GPS Uniform Feed Delivery (UFD), a patented system and method (using GPS) developed for the uniform delivery of assigned feed rations with one pass of the feed delivery vehicle.
In addition to technology-based solutions, Animal Health International Technologies also supplies a line of premier grain conditioners and silage inoculants under the Aspen Feed Technologies label, designed and developed to maximize the potential and effectiveness of feedstuffs. These conditioners and inoculants include:
- EZ Sile® Inoculants, engineered to work effectively across a broad range of silage substrates, with multiple lactic-acid-producing bacteria active throughout the fermentation process, extending bunk life, optimizing quality and retaining nutrient energy and dry matter. EZ Sile can be added at the chopper, truck, scale, packer or in a plastic bag, and the formulations and concentrations allow for dry and liquid application at different rates and volumes.
- EZ Forage® Inoculants, designed specifically for use with dry hay forage such as alfalfa, helping retain more leaves and retain higher nutrient value in the forage.
- TenderKeep™ Plus, a propionic acid-based hay preservative and mold inhibitor to treat high-moisture hay to avoid spoilage, discoloration, heat-damage, and loss.
- E-Z Flake® and EZ Roll™, a premier grain conditioner for steam-flaking, rolling, roasting and pelleting, which increases quality via moisture preservation across all types of grain, bulk densities and processing environments.
Animal Health International Technologies will be exhibiting in Booth # 381, along with Turnkey Computer Systems LLC, also an Animal Health International company.
